The device has a locking unit (7) provided for locking an inserted connector (4) and arranged at a housing (2) in an area within a plug connection in a pivotable manner. The locking unit is designed in U-shape and has a U-ridge covering the connector and a U-side piece designed as a resting unit, where the U-side piece overlaps a front edge of the connector. The locking unit has another U-side piece engaging a rear edge of the connector, and has a rotational axis that is arranged in a transition area of the ridge to the latter side piece. An independent claim is also included for an electronic housing comprising two plug connectors.
