PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable LED type marker light lighting device.

SOLUTION: This LED type marker light lighting device B is provided with: a lighting circuit part of a rectifier device 30 lighting a light emitting diode 40; a first current supply circuit part 63 supplying a current to the rectifier device 30 when a current not smaller than a predetermined value is supplied thereto via an insulation type current transformer 70 for high input arranged in an inspection device 73; a second current supply circuit part 64 supplying a current to the rectifier device 30 via a regular current transformer 60 when a current smaller than the predetermined value is supplied thereto from an alternating constant current power source 91; and a changeover part changing over the first current supply circuit part 63 to the second current supply circuit part 64 and vice versa depending on the current supplied from the alternating constant current power source. Since only the current transformer 60 dedicated to lighting of 10% of a rated value must be provided according to this embodiment, the lighting device can be miniaturized.
