PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic element which has an excellent adhesiveness of an inorganic material of a substrate or insulating layer, with an electrode layer and a conductive layer and which has fast responsiveness and can be manufactured at low cost, its manufacturing method, and a display device equipped with the same electronic element. SOLUTION: A first electrode layer having a surface covered with an insulating layer is formed on a substrate, and an electrode pattern B is formed in a region including the first electrode layer. The electrode pattern B is divided by step portions due to the thickness of the first electrode layer into three regions which are a region (conductive layer) formed at a first electrode layer top portion and regions (second electrode layer and third electrode layer) formed on right and left sides thereof, the second electrode layer, conductive layer, and third electrode layer are electrode layers forming independent regions which are formed separately from one another even in a region other than step portions. A semiconductor layer is provided at separation parts between the second electrode layer and conductive layer, and third electrode layer and conductive layer separated by the step portions. The first electrode layer, second electrode layer, and third electrode layer serve as a gate, a source, and a drain electrode, and an adhesive layer is provided on interfaces between the inorganic material and the second electrode, and the third electrode layer.
