METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONVERTING DATA FRAMES

A method for converting data frames is disclosed by the embodiment of the present invention, which includes that: receiving data frames in a first format; encapsulating the payload of at least one of received continuous two said data frames in a first format into data frames in a second format. Another method for converting data frames includes that: receiving data frames in a second format; acquiring the core layer data of said data frames in a second format; encapsulating the core layer data of said data in second format as the payload into two data frames in the first format respectively. The corresponding apparatus for converting data frames is also provided by the embodiment of the present invention. The code streams in two formats can be inter-converted directly without a complicated network negotiation process, and the reliability and stability of data frames conversion is improved according to the embodiment of the present invention.
