The wheel bearing has a bush (10) and a spindle (2) which are connected into one another in a pivoted manner. A rib element (8) is attached at a side of a collar (5), where the side of the collar is turned towards a bearing surface (7) of the spindle. The rib element has a free edge (9) that runs diagonally from the bearing surface of the spindle to the collar.
