The present invention relates to a mold for forming a glass, comprising: an upper mold (10) and a lower mold (20) for forming a glass therebetween; an upper heater unit (30) located to be in contact with an upper surface of the upper mold (10); a lower heater unit (40) located to be in contact with a lower surface of the lower mold (20); an upper cooling unit (50) disposed on each of the upper heater unit (30) and the lower heater unit (40) so as to cool the upper heater unit (30) and the lower heater unit (40) on the opposite side of the upper mold (10) and the lower mold (20); and a lower cooling unit (60). The upper mold (10) includes a graphite body part (11) formed with a pattern (12) on a bottom surface thereof; a contact coating surface (13) coated on the bottom surface of the body part (11); and a SiC coating layer (14) deposited on an entire side surface of the graphite body part (11) by using a CVD method, and the lower mold (20) includes a graphite body part (21) formed with a pattern (22) on an upper surface thereof; a contact coating surface (23) coated on the upper surface of the body part (21); and a SiC coating layer (24) deposited on an entire side surface of the graphite body part (21) by using the CVD method. The objective of the present invention is to provide a mold for forming a glass, which can prevent the mold from reducing lifespan thereof due to oxidation reaction. |
