PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film that is excellent in transparency, has small thermal shrinkage, has small shrinkage under high temperature and high humidity and is useful as an optical film in particular.SOLUTION: The film comprises a methacrylic resin composition containing 80 mass% or more of (A) a methacrylic resin including 50 to 90 mass% of (a1) a structural unit derived from a methyl methacrylate and 10 to 50 mass% of (a2) a structural unit derived from a methacrylic acid polycyclic aliphatic hydrocarbon ester and having a weight average molecular weight of 80,000 or more with the content of the methacrylic acid polycyclic aliphatic hydrocarbon ester of 3.0 mass% or less and further with the total content of a dimer and a trimer comprising a polymerizable monomer of 1.0 mass% or less. The film has a heat loss of 1% or less when held in a nitrogen atmosphere at 280°C for 5 minutes.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
