PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mass-producing linear pyrrole-imidazole polyamide (PIPA) having desired amino acid sequence capable of mass-producing linear pyrrole-imidazole polyamide at high efficiency at high purity.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing pyrrole imidazole polyamide, in which amino acid units are subjected to dehydration condensation on a resin to elongate polyamide chains to produce linear pyrrole-imidazole polyamide, including a process where one or a plurality of pieces having a size of 3 to 6 mer are beforehand synthesized, and the pieces are subjected to dehydration condensation so as to be connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
