PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a roller slide mechanism, which prevent a contact portion that is energized toward a recording medium to contact the recording medium from getting caught in a guide surface in a corner part of an end face while being slid relative to the guide surface.SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: a contact portion 11 that contacts a recording medium; energizing members 12 and 13 that energize the contact portion 11 toward the recording medium; and a pair of parallel guide surfaces 22a and 22b that oppose to each other across the contact portion 11 and guide the contact portion 11. In the contact portion 11 are formed a pair of sliding surfaces 11b-1 and 11b-2 that slide relative to the pair of guide surfaces 22a and 22b. The pair of sliding surfaces 11b-1 and 11b-2 are formed in a shape in which a width of the contact portion 11 between the pair of guide surfaces 22a and 22b is always constant (L1=L2) with respect to an inclination of the contact portion 11 similarly to the case where there is no inclination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
