PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring an amount of plasmalogen in a sample highly accurately, simply, and inexpensively.SOLUTION: After performing hydrolysis treatment to a sample, treatment by glycerophospholipid-specific phospholipase D or phosphatidylcholine-specific phospholipase D is performed to a lipid sample obtained by extracting lipid. When treatment by tyramine oxidase or choline oxidase, peroxidase and fluorescent reagent is performed to treated liquid obtained, an amount of plasmalogen in the sample can be measured highly accurately, simply, and inexpensively by a fluorophotometer, and when treatment by amine oxidase or choline oxidase, peroxidase, and coloring agent is performed to the liquid, an amount of plasmalogen in the sample can be measured highly accurately, simply, and inexpensively by a spectrophotometer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
