PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder filling device capable of suppressing segregation of an auxiliary material such as carbon in a powder container.SOLUTION: A powder filling device 1 fills a powder container 4 with powder P containing a ferrous material as a main material and at least carbon as an auxiliary material. The powder filling device comprises: a mixer 2 for preparing the powder P by mixing the main material and the auxiliary material; and a power scattering prevention hood 3 having an upper opening 3a which is disposed below the mixer 2 and receives the powder P from a powder discharge port 2a at the lower part of the mixer 2, and a lower opening 3b having the size and shape corresponding to a powder supply port 4a at the upper end of the powder container 4. An air supply pipe 9, which supplies air for floating the powder P blown up during the discharge into the powder container 4, is disposed on the inside of a lower end 7 of the powder scattering prevention hood 3. A suction source 12, which sucks the floating powder P together with the air by bringing the inside of the powder scattering prevention hood 3 into negative pressure, is connected to the power scattering prevention hood 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
