PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption amount of binding needles in a binding processing device for binding sheets without reducing the convenience of a user.SOLUTION: A binding processing control device for controlling a binding processing device, which binds sheets, comprises: a user authentication part which performs user authentication; an authority determination part which determines whether or not the authenticated user has use authority of a needle binding function for binding the sheets using binding needles; a needle designation determination part which determines whether or not the needle binding function is designated by the user when it is determined that the user has the use authority; and a use permission decision part which decides whether or not to permit the user to use the needle binding function when it is determined that the needle binding function is designated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
