A method to form a polyurethane material, the method comprises the steps of: providing at least one isocyanate; providing at least one isocyanate reactive component; providing a catalyst composition comprising metalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POMS) compounds wherein: said POMS compounds are reaction products of metallic alkoxides and silsesquioxane silanols, in particular silsesquioxane trisilanols corresponding to structure [2], and the number of equivalents of silsesquioxane silanols used is higher than the number of equivalents of metallic alkoxides used to react with said silsesquioxane silanols,R is selected from an alkyl group comprising 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and blending and reacting said at least one isocyanate, at least one isocyanate reactive component and said catalyst composition to provide said polyurethane material.
