The vulcanizing mold (1) has multiple mold segments (2) that are together formed to a circumferentially closed mold. The ventilation slots are arranged inside the negative-profile elements of the partial-mold segments which form the tire shoulders. The ventilation slots are waived off in area of the partial-mold segments. The vents and the ventilation slots are the individual ventilation units within a molding area (3). Each partial-mold segment forms a tire shoulder.
