摘要 The present invention relates to a lane changing apparatus for an autonomous vehicle and a method therefor. According to the present invention, a lane changing apparatus for an autonomous vehicle comprises: a lane recognition unit recognizing a lane of a road wherein a vehicle is driven and extracting road information through the recognized lane; a vehicle information collection unit collecting vehicle information through various sensors installed inside a vehicle; a control information calculation unit calculating control information to change a lane by using the vehicle information and the road information; a control unit controlling a vehicle yaw rate based on the control information in case of changing a lane; and a steering apparatus changing a heading of the vehicle in accordance with control of the control unit.
