[Problem] To propose a device, a method and a program which are capable of appropriately selecting an edge server for providing a service to a terminal. [Solution] A device provided with: an acquisition unit which acquires information relating to an API for acquiring information relating to the communication of a relay node that relays communication between the device and a core network, the information relating to the API being provided by the relay node and used by a service provision device that provides a service to the device; and a selection processing unit which performs processing for selecting the service provision device as a service provision source on the basis of the information relating to the API acquired by the acquisition unit. |
