PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveyance apparatus which can enhance an air flow generated in a conveyance pipe for conveying paper sheets, efficiently in the halfway of the conveyance pipe, and an auxiliary blower.SOLUTION: In a paper sheet conveyance apparatus, there are provided a blowing blower 50 which blows an air flow into a hole 43 formed in the halfway of a conveyance pipe 12 and a suction blower 70 which sucks air in the conveyance pipe 12 from a hole 44 in the downstream of the hole 43. The blowers 50 and 70 each have a shutter 54 and 74 for prevention of blow-through of air. By setting the blowing blower 50 to be off, the shutter 54 to be closed, the suction blower 74 to be on and the shutter 74 to be opened until a conveyance auxiliary body 16 passes through the hole 43, the air flow is enhanced through suction. After the conveyance auxiliary body 16 passes through the hole 43, the air flow is enhanced through blowing by setting the blowing blower 50 to be on, the shutter 54 to be opened, the suction blower 70 to be off and the shutter 74 to be closed. Since the shutter of a blower in an off state is closed, there occurs no blow-through of air, leading to efficient enhancement of the air flow. |
