PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing reduced iron by utilizing waste plastics. SOLUTION: The utilization of the waste plastics is achieved with the producing method of the reduced iron, with which carbon generated by thermal- decomposing the waste plastics in a fluidized bed thermal-decomposing furnace while using iron ore grain as fluidizing medium, is stuck on this iron ore grain and the iron ore grain is reduced.
