摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery structure for electric vehicles which can fix battery cells certainly with excellent cooling characteristic and improved assembling workability. SOLUTION: A cell module 1 has a battery case body comprising an upper lid 4, an inside id 5, and a lower lid 6, and two side covers which cover side exposure sections of the battery cell embraced by the battery case body in a horizontal state. A exhaust side ventilating opening 14a for circulating cooling air in a vertical direction and an inlet side ventilating opening 14b are formed in the upper lid 4 and the lower lid 6. The total opening area of the exhaust side ventilating opening 14a is set to one half of the total opening area of the inlet side ventilating opening 14b. A plurality of embraced ribs which divide a battery case at plural bays in the longitudinal direction, are formed on the upper lid 4, the inside lid 5, and the lower lid 6, and embrace the battery cells in a horizontal state. Cooling air is supplied to the upper lid 5 side from the lower lid 6 side.</p>
