DEVICE FOR THE HAULER AND HAULING UNIT AND ITS VARIATIONS

The proposed coupling device for the hauler and hauling unit and its variations are assigned to be used in automobile construction, machinery construction (agricultural, road-building, utilities etc.) and other technical fields, in which hauling units may be involved. In the coupling device between the hauler and the hauling unit, that consists of hauler's catcher with a pin, a towing beam, a joining hinge between the hauler's catcher and a towing beam of the hauling unit, holding element mounted on a towing beam and flexible connection between the hauler and a towing beam of the hauling unit with sealed-off endings, fixed on the hauler and mounted the way it can move free in the holding element, free movement of the flexible connection in holding element is realized along the arc of a circle with the center on a long axis of a pin of the hauler's catcher, and the holding element is fixed upon the towing beam and/or plate which is placed on the towing beam's surface in the long axis direction. Also provided two more types of such device. In the second type the coupling device is additionally equipped with the safety element, which at the same time is connected to the towing beam and made with embraced hinge of hauler's catcher pin and towing beam of the hauling unit. The third type of coupling device provides just the safety element itself, which is in the same way as in the second type connected to the towing beam and made with embraced hinge of hauler's catcher pin and towing beam of the hauling unit. The presented invention allows raising the fail-safety and reliability of the coupling unit in general, and also durability of the rope and reliability of the each component of the couple separately. Moreover, the device provides the ability of uninterrupted motion of large capacity road-trains for the long distance, which is particularly important while transporting the cargo by trucks, and simplicity and ease in connecting/disconnecting of the coupled road train without outside help. The presented invention provides also the simple change of the details, e.g. rope or cramp, with minimum time loss, without outside help and guarantees safe movement on the road even in extreme situation.
