PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design calculation program capable of analyzing the behavior of a protective net device by a simply method in receiving a planar load such as collapsing soil, fallen snow or snow avalanche. SOLUTION: Displacement, supporting point tension and internal tension are calculated by making a collapsing soil load uniform in the depth direction act on a ring net, by using the net as a band model virtually divided in the longitudinal direction and by using both ends as rotation supporting points. Next, the supporting point tension is made to act on a support rope suspending the net to calculate flexure and tension of the support rope. Variation of each supporting point position generated by the flexure of the support rope is calculated, and the displacement, supporting point tension and internal tension of the band model are re-calculated by updating the supporting point position of the band model. By repeating the calculation, the displacement of the band model and the flexure of the support rope are converged at certain values, and the behavior of deformation of the ring net can be analyzed based on the result thereof.
