<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for maintaining the high reliability of a journal system where user data are recorded as a journal, and for improving the efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: When updating the data of a disk device 2, a journal file system 12 of a host computer 1 records a journal including meta data and user data in the disk device 2 as pre-processing. On the other hand, a disk control part 21 of the disk device 2 which has received the journal stores this in a non-volatile storage medium 22. Also, when performing check point processing to decide data update for which the journal has been written so far, the journal file system 12 transmits only an instruction as such to the disk device 2 without re-transmitting the data. Then, the disk control part 21 which has received the instruction performs the update of a disk 23 based on the journal stored in the non-volatile storage medium 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
