#CMT# #/CMT# The drive has a clamping unit (2) which is provided on a connecting rod and is shifted by an electromagnetically driven impact unit (3a). A pressing unit is provided on an opposite side of the clamping unit. The pressing unit has a pre-stressed compression spring (5) which presses against the clamping unit, to effect a linear forward motion of the structures of the rod against the impact direction of the impact unit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Linear drive e.g. pneumatic hammer and impact wrench for a linear movement of a structure such as a connecting rod and/or tension rod in a pneumatic and hydraulic system of a machine construction. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The compression spring presses against the clamping unit, to effect linear forward motion of the structures of connecting rod against the impact direction of the impact unit, hence the drive exhibits a larger tractive and/or compressive forces and is held in the intermediate position so that it is universally applicable.
