<p>There is provided a terminal device capable of managing power consumption for execution of each of application programs to be installed later and reporting information such as start enabled time to a user. The terminal device includes a charge detection unit (62) for detecting whether a battery unit (60) is being charged by an external power supply unit (100); and a remaining capacity detection unit (61) for detecting the remaining capacity of the battery unit (60). A control unit (10) calculates average power consumption per unit time during use of each of application programs according to the use condition of each of the application programs stored in an application storage area (21) when it is detected that the battery unit (60) is not being charged, and stores the obtained value in a data storage area (22) while correlating it with an application program. Upon start of the application program, the application program start enabled time is calculated according to the average power consumption per unit time and the remaining capacity of the battery unit (60), and the calculated time is displayed on a display unit (30).</p> |
