A holographic storing device of a bit type and a heterogeneous data storing device are provided to be more easily commercialized because it is unnecessary for high-priced equipment like an image sensor by integrating paths of a signal beam and a reference beam as one in the pickup composition of the holographic storing device which stores data by the bit type. A laser light source(1) records and reproduces holographic data. When the holographic data are recorded, a beam splitter(5) separates a signal beam and a reference beam by a certain pattern. When the holographic data are reproduced, the beam splitter(5) blocks the signal and transmits only the reference beam. An objective lens(10) condenses a laser transmitted from a transmittive-type spatial light modulator(3) on a recording medium.
