<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing management device and a printing system which are hardly put into the state of being unable to execute print processing even when the total number of prints in a plurality of printers is approaching a prescribed upper limit. <P>SOLUTION: On reception of an assignment request with user's designation from a printer (S601:YES), the management device reads out the upper limit number of prints and the number of assigned prints of the user (S602 and S603). The number of assigned prints is subtracted from the upper limit number of prints to calculate the number of assignable prints (S604). If the number of assignable prints is larger than 0 (S605:Yes), the number of prints to be assigned is calculated less for less number of assignable print, and according to performance of the printer.(S606) The obtained number of prints to be assigned is transmitted to the printer (S608). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
