A biosensor cartridge integrated with a puncturing tool in which the puncturing tool can be moved to puncture the biosensor cartridge by a simple structure. Since the sliding direction of the puncturing tool (20) is set in the direction intersecting the inserting direction of a biosensor chip (11) into a biosensor device (30), the puncturing tool (20) can be provided at a position remote from the axis of the biosensor chip (11). Consequently, the puncturing tool (20) and a mechanism (23) for driving the puncturing tool (20) can be located at positions different from the connecting portion (11d) to the biosensor device (30) and thereby the puncturing tool (20) can be moved to puncture the biosensor cartridge by a simple structure. Furthermore, when an aged user or a user having poor eyesight inserts the biosensor chip (11) into the biosensor device (30), the user can be prevented from making a mistake in the inserting direction.
