PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical apparatus capable of reducing the occurrence of clock noises or the like of high frequency in an image signal under such conditions that image signal lines increases as the number of phase development increases, with respect to the electrooptical apparatus of an active matrix driving system. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device 200 includes: a liquid crystal layer interposed between a pair of substrates; pixel electrodes 11 disposed in a matrix shape on the substrate 1; and TFTs 30 which perform switching control of the pixel electrodes. The liquid crystal device 200 further includes: lines CLX, CLX' which supply clock signals to a data line driving circuit 101; a shield line 80' which is disposed so as to surround the data line driving circuit 101 and the lines CLX, CLX'; and image signal lines VID1 to VID12 disposed on the outside of the shield line 80'.
