A simulated foreskin of elastomeric material consists of a generally cylindrical shaft (11), open at both ends. An upper anchor (13) and lower anchor (12) are formed integrally with the shaft, with the upper anchor (13) generally conforming in shape to the geometry of the coronal sulcus (33) of the glans (29) of the penis. The shaft (11) further has a portion in a doubled back configuration establishing inner (32) and outer foreskin (31) layers. The simulated foreskin forms part of a training device, allowing medical professionals to practice circumcision. Preferably the training device is of the size of a neonatal penis, and is attached to a doll/ model of neonatal size. |
