The lamp holder has a housing made of an insulating material i.e. injection-moldable plastic material. A contact is arranged in the housing. A rotor (26) is made of an insulating material and supported in a rotatable manner. The rotor has supporting units (31,32,34) that are provided for the contact. The supporting units push the contact at pins, where the contact is formed by a springy contact sheet. The rotor is supported rotatably about an axis on the housing. The supporting units are formed by a projection that is provided on the rotor.
