<p>The method involves producing an output video signal (Sout), and providing two partial images by motion-compensated interpolation of two images of an input image sequence, where the partial images comprise a matrix-like image point, respectively. An image point value is assigned to the image points, where two image points are larger than specific times of an image of an output image sequence. An overlapping region comprising the image points is provided, and an output image is produced from the two partial images. An independent claim is also included for a video signal processing device comprising an input for supplying an input video signal.</p> |
