PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile holding apparatus capable of supporting an existing pile including a knotted pile, in a way suited to a pile diameter of a pile body of the existing pile.SOLUTION: A pile holding apparatus 100 holds an existing pile 10 roughly in a vertical direction at an opening 50a of a pile hole 50, when installing the existing pile having a protruding node part 18 on an outer peripheral surface 12c of a pile body 12 in the pile hole. The pile holding apparatus includes: a holding cylinder 102 of a generally cylindrical form that surrounds a lower part of the node part or directly underneath the node part of the pile body for holding the existing pile; and a node receiving member 110 fitted on an edge part of the holding cylinder 102 on an inner peripheral side, having a recess 110c to be fitted on the node part, and capable of adjusting an inner diameter of an inner peripheral surface 102c of the holding cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
