PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery catheter with a new structure capable of placing a stent by uniform diameter reduction when a stent with many waves is to be set on a balloon.SOLUTION: A balloon 12 is set at the distal end part of a shaft 24, a stent 14 is set on the balloon 12, and the stent 14 has a skeletal structure extending in a circumferential direction by folding in an axial direction concerning a stent delivery catheter 10. A large diameter part 42 having an outer diameter dimension larger than that of a proximal end side adjacent part 40 in a placement portion is arranged in the placement portion of the stent 14 in the shaft 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
