The invention provides a refuelling method for being used in refuelling operations, comprising the steps of: deploying a refuelling system (2) from a tanker aircraft, the refuelling system (2) further comprising a drag arrangement (1) which is arranged on the hose (3), detecting the presence of the probe (6) in the optimal position with respect to the drogue (4), by means of a probe sensor (5), when the probe (6) is deemed to be near enough the drogue (4), actuate on the drag arrangement (1), increasing the drag caused by it, and as a consequence of the drag increase, a speed decrease is caused to the drogue (4), causing its sudden approach and coupling to the probe (6). |
