The charger (124) is coupled to the connector (128) and selectively operated in a normal mode or a self-test mode, wherein when the charger (124) operates in the normal mode, the charger (124) is arranged for receiving the supply voltage via a power pin (202) of the connector (128) to charge the battery (125) of the electronic device (120); and when the charger (124) operates in the self-test mode, the charger (1 24) provides a specific voltage to the power pin (202) of the connector (1 28).
