Hydrophobic, adsorbent barrier to contain oil spills on water

It includes a hydrophobic adsorbent (2) with a foam- or fleece structure. A net (3) surrounds and forms the adsorbent into a moulded shape (1). It uses essentially halogen-free plastic in making the net.
