PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve apparatus compactness and eliminate design constrains in an instrument display apparatus for vehicles. SOLUTION: An optical pointer 6a capable of rotating in a pointer rotation region 4 is provided, including a discontinuous part 7. An optical pointer emitting part 23 is provided with a mask 8 capable of forming the discontinuous part 7. An indicator display part 9 is provided for the inside of the pointer rotation region 4.
