PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take out and store articles in an auxiliary storage part and a vegetable case at the depth of the auxiliary storage part by forming the auxiliary storage part for storing a comparatively tall stored matter such as a plastic bottle between a front face of the vegetable case and an inner face of a front door, in order to solve problems in a conventional article storage where the vegetable case in a refrigerator can be horizontally drawn out with the front door, a tall stored matter storage part for storing a comparatively tall article such as the plastic bottle is formed at a front side of the vegetable case, the tall stored matter storage part is drawn out together with the vegetable case when the vegetable case is drawn out to a front part with the front door, and the articles are taken out or stored in the vegetable case and the tall stored article storage part from an upper opening, which is very troublesome. SOLUTION: In this article storage, the front door and an auxiliary article storage container are selectively operable between a state that they can be drawn out in the longitudinal direction to be operated with a main article storage container, and a state that they are rotated forward independently from the main article storage container, and the application of the load of the auxiliary article storage container to the front door is minimized when the front door is closed.
