The present invention relates to multiple unit tablet compositions of ben zimidazole compounds and process of preparation thereof. The compositions ar e useful against various gastrointestinal disorders. The multiple unit table t composition comprises: a) tablet excipients, and b) multiple enteric coate d core units containing a benzimidazole compound, wherein each core unit is covered with an enteric coating layer comprising a plasticizer in an amount of less than 15% by weight of the enteric coating layer polymer.
