PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for processing an image to delete a background color and change it to another color according as a user intends. SOLUTION: The image processing device is provided with a scanner part 140 reading an original image, an operation panel part 150 designating a predetermined position on the image data read by the scanner part 140, a designated color data storage part 117 storing color data of the position designated by the operation panel part 150, and a color data replacement part 112 converting the part of the image data having color data of a visual sense characteristic substantially equal to that of the designated color data stored in the designated color data storage part 117 into substitutional color data.
