PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost in a fluid dynamic pressure bearing device, and to improve slipping-out resistant strength in a cover member. SOLUTION: This fluid dynamic pressure bearing device 1 includes a shaft member 2, a bearing sleeve 8 forming a radial bearing clearance between an outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 2 and itself, a housing 9 for storing the bearing sleeve 8 and opening on both ends, and the lid member 10 for blocking up an opening part on one end side of the housing 9 and forming thrust bearing parts T1 and T2. The housing 9 is formed of an injection mood of insetting the bearing sleeve 8, and a seal part 9b forming a seal space S is integrally formed on the other end side of the housing 9.
