PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus in which an object to be cleaned is cleaned by water-based cleaning water and minute air bubbles to omit a step of rinsing the cleaned object to be cleaned and reduce environmental loads and further a heavy container for housing the object to be cleaned is easily attached or detached so that a physical load on a worker is reduced and the working efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus is provided with: the container 20 for housing the object to be cleaned; a sliding/holding mechanism part 90 for sliding the container to carry the container into/out of the cleaning apparatus; a cleaning tank 30 for immersing the container in the cleaning water; a raising/lowering mechanism part 40 for immersing/raising the container into/from the cleaning tank; a rotating mechanism part 50 arranged in the raising/lowering mechanism part to rotate the container; an oil separating part 80 for separating the oil and fat content from the cleaning water in the cleaning tank; an air bubble generating part 63 and a nozzle 64 which are used for jetting an air bubble-containing cleaning water current toward the container 20 of the object which is to be cleaned and is immersed/cleaned; and a draining mechanism part 70 for jetting a draining air current toward the container which is raised from the cleaning tank, rotated and cleaned.
