The present invention relates to a connector assembly which facilitates connection or separation between connectors. According to the present invention, the connector assembly comprises a first connector, a second connector, a spring, a terminal part transfer unit, and an operating lever. The first connector comprises a first housing which having has insulating properties, an insertion groove which is provided inside the first housing so as to be opened to a side of the first housing, and a first terminal part which is movably installed in the first housing so that one end thereof is exposed to the insertion groove. The second connector comprises a second housing which has insulating properties, slides from the side of the first housing of a first connector into the insertion groove, and is fitted into the first housing, and a second terminal part which is installed inside the second housing so as to be exposed to one end of the second housing for an electrical connection with the first terminal part of a first connector. The spring is installed inside the first housing of the first connector so as to apply an elastic force to the first terminal part of the first connector in a retreating direction from the insertion groove. The terminal part transfer unit is installed inside the first housing to be connected to the first terminal part for advancing the first terminal part of the first connector so as to connect to the second terminal part of the second connector inserted into the insertion groove. The operating lever is installed on an outer surface of the first housing of the first connector so as to operate the terminal part transfer unit by a user operation. |
