PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image inspection device that can reduce moire with a simple configuration, an image forming apparatus, and an imaging control method.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: a carriage 5 that can move on a recording medium through drive of a main scanning motor 8; a colorimetric camera 20 that is provided on the carriage 5 and photographs patches recorded in the recording medium as subjects; and an imaging control part 116 that controls a timing of imaging by the colorimetric camera 20 so as to photograph the patches while the carriage 5 is vibrating, that is, so as to perform photographing of one frame with a time zone including a timing at which positive and negative of the speed of movement of the carriage 5 are inverted, as a light receiving period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
