PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the state of a face and eyes of a driver.SOLUTION: A determination device comprises: a storage unit which stores a three-dimensional face model in which a three-dimensional face shape of a subject and change information are registered, the change information having positions of eyes of the subject, the change state of the shape of eyes and a shape parameter associated with each other; a check unit which checks a captured image of a driver captured by an imaging device from the three-dimensional face shape to determine the positions of eyes; a parameter determination unit which makes the shape parameter change and specifies a shape parameter corresponding to the state of eyes in the captured image; a degree-of-eye-opening calculation unit which calculates the degree of eye opening which indicates the state of eye opening in the captured image; and a determination unit which determines the face and the state of eyes of the driver on the basis of the degree of eye opening and the identified shape parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
