摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of detecting flicker component precisely, without lowering the throughput relevant to detection/correction, by setting a proper flicker detection frame, even if the flicker components including a subject and the background of different distance from a light source have a distribution in an image signal.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes flicker detection means for extracting the change information of illumination intensity, in the vertical direction in the field plane, flicker correction value calculation means for calculating the reverse characteristics (inverse number) of the flicker component detected by the flicker detection means as a flicker correction value, based on the change information of illumination intensity thus detected, and flicker correction means performing flicker correction, by multiplying the image signal by the correction value calculated by the flicker correction value calculation means. The image processing apparatus further includes distance image acquisition means for acquiring a distance image, and means for setting the detection frame of the flicker correction means, and the correction frame of the flicker correction value generation means, based on the distance image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
