PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing the influences from the reaction of the armature and reducing the weight of the iron core by improving the wiring workability while ensuring the dimensions of magnetic field slot opening, and to provide an electric blower.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine includes: a pair of first side parts which has a salient pole therein; an iron core of a rectangle cylindrical shape which is constituted of a pair of second side parts connecting the end parts of the first side parts; a field magnet which is constituted of a magnetic field wiring wound on the salient poles; and an armature disposed among the salient poles. On an inner peripheral of the second side part, an inclination is formed, and the width in a generally central part of the second side part is adapted to be smaller than the width of the end part of the second side part at the upstream side in a rotation direction of the armature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
