PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which allows a user to perform input operation through touch panels while satisfactorily viewing images displayed in a display part.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a display part 5 which displays at least characters 51 to be printed on tape; and touch panels 61-64 provided on circulating portions surrounding the display part 5. A CPU of the printer detects a touched spot on the touch panel 61 as coordinate information indicating a position in a circulating direction of the display part. The CPU specifies input operation performed by a user through a touch panel 6 as operation for moving a cursor, on the basis of positions 611 and 612 indicated by the detected coordinate information. The CPU moves a position of the cursor 11 displayed in the display part 5, in accordance with the specified input operation. The CPU prints the characters 51 on the tape under a printing condition based on the changed display contents. |
