Method for managing the synchronisation of a distributed system for recording time-stamped events

The method involves providing a local clock that presents local time, and a reference clock that provides reference hour (Tref). A last time stamp is associated with a recording event during synchronization of the local clock with the reference clock. A time stamping hour is calculated for a set of recordings if a new synchronized local time is equal to the last time stamp, or if the value of the new synchronized local time is higher than the last time stamp. An independent claim is also included for a distributed stamped events recording system.
