PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system in common use for silver-salt photographing and electronic image pickup that can operate an area sensor in an exposure time corresponding to the sensitivity set by a silver-salt photographing means even when the sensitivity decided by the setting of film sensitivity or the like of the silver-salt photographing means exceeds the sensitivity able to be set by a clock of the area sensor of an electronic image pickup means. SOLUTION: The camera system is provided with a silver-salt camera section 100 that has a shutter 5 to expose a silver-salt film 6, an electronic camera section 101 that forms an image of an object on an area sensor 20 adopting an XY address system, a sensor driver 26 that applies drive control to the area sensor, and a clock control circuit 28 that supplies a clock to the sensor driver. Changing the frequency of the clock supplied to the sensor driver corresponding to the sensitivity state of the silver-salt camera section revises a variable range of an exposure time of the area sensor so that the electronic camera section can obtain an image nearly coincident with the object image by the silver-salt camera section. |
